not only humiliating it is also not good for your health. Frowzy oral hygiene
leads to breeding of bacteria in the mouth which can undo your teeth and gums
and result in infections. Therefore maintaining good oral hygiene is very important.

Brushing
The significance of brushing your
teeth regularly can never be over emphasized in maintaining good oral hygiene.
Regular brushing with a fluoride containing toothpaste can prevent germ build
up in your mouth and therefore prevent foul smell and yellowing of teeth.
Brushing also saves your teeth from cavities and decay.
Cleaning your tongue
Your tongue is the resting place
for many of the bacteria that reside in the oral cavity. Unless you disturb
their habitat they will continue to thrive and disturb the hygiene of your oral
cavity. For this you need to scrap your tongue regularly. This will remove
plaque from tongue and freshen up the breath.
Water
Drinking plenty of water alone
can lessen some of the problems related to bad breath and tooth decay. If you
take lot of water the build-up of bacteria in the oral cavity and tongue will
be prevented and this will prevent foul smell and tooth decay. It helps to keep

Baking Soda
Baking soda is abrasive and
alkaline in nature. If you brush your teeth at least once a week with baking
soda then all the plaque on your teeth will get dissolved. Moreover, due to the
alkaline nature of baking soda the acidic environment inside your mouth will be
mitigated and that will prevent the provisions of bacteria.
Apples and Carrots
Apple is well-known as natures'
toothbrush. Apple is found to have a stimulating effect on the gums which
increases the flow of saliva. Increased saliva helps in reducing acidity in
mouth and wash the food particle away. Raw carrot also acts in somewhat the
same way and helps in maintaining oral hygiene.
